In this module, Holotropic theory comes alive through direct experience and practical training. We explore the principles that inform the Holotropic Breathwork method and the power of the Inner Healing Wisdom, while developing the skills needed to support others in their process.
A central focus of the module is the creation of a safe and supportive set and setting, and the development of facilitator presence, observation, and responsiveness. We explore how to follow the body's own impulses and expressions, how to recognize and respond to what is unfolding during a session, and how to support the process through presence, verbal communication, and bodywork.
Participants receive a theoretical foundation and have opportunities to observe demonstrations and practise facilitation skills, especially focused energy release. Particular attention is given to the principles and ethics of physical touch, consent, boundaries, and the importance of responding to each person's needs without imposing interpretations or directing their experience. We also explore how to work sensitively with trauma-related responses, dissociative states, and other challenging situations that may arise during expanded states of consciousness.
The module combines theoretical presentations, experiential learning, demonstrations, and supervised practice. Through this combination, participants deepen their understanding of the method and develop greater awareness of the responsibilities involved in facilitating Holotropic Breathwork.

During this six-day module, each participant takes part in four Holotropic Breathwork® sessions: two as a breather and two as a sitter. These experiences provide an opportunity to deepen personal understanding of the process and to explore the responsibilities and skills involved in supporting another person's journey.
Alongside theoretical presentations, breathwork sessions, and practical exercises, the module includes expressive art, movie yoga, and group integration time.
This is one of the obligatory modules for those pursuing certification as a Holotropic Breathwork Practitioner.
Participants must have prior experience with Holotropic Breathwork and must have completed at least one GTT module before attending.
